Artist Biography: Torgny Forsberg was a Swedish painter known for his dedicated exploration of the Scandinavian wilderness, particularly the dramatic vistas of the northern highlands. His work frequently features mountain landscapes where he captures the monumental scale and solitude of the peaks with a focused, naturalistic approach. Forsberg’s technique on panel allowed him to render the sharp contrasts of the terrain and the shifting light of high altitudes with precision.
