Artist Biography: Frans Lorentz was a Swedish artist active during the mid-20th century, known primarily for his evocative depictions of the Nordic coastline. His work, such as this piece from 1945, often explores the interplay of light and water through a structured, post-impressionist lens. His compositions are valued for their balance and their ability to convey a sense of place and calm.
